Filtering events from now on
There's 40+ parties happening in Taiwan most weeks, more than any single email could hold.
I go through everything myself and try to cover a mix of different vibes so there's something here whichever scene you're into.
These are some events that will not be included in the newsletter:
- Anything too mainstream for this newsletter (like AI Nightclub or Wave)
- Events that have AI-slop in their promotional materials (like Taipei:Mix)
- Events that don't show real effort or aren't actually moving the scene
I'm doing this to keep the quality of the newsletter at a high standard, so you can have the best curated events of the island.

The tearSPA Taikebeat tour lands in Kaohsiung for its final stop. Hyper Techno at 23 Music Lab in Pier-2.
揭開當年隨著掃毒而掃掉的搖頭舞曲 ******** 台客碎拍 Taikebeat，誕生於台灣 2000 年代的舞曲語言，哨子、白手套、台客舞，這條曾經的鄙視鏈將搖擺回歸！
座標曼徹斯特的 Dirty K，是當代東亞 Rave 與 Hyper Techno 的代表性聲音，透過 Eastern Margins 計畫，他深入探索並發展本土東亞電子舞曲，尤其聚焦於「台客碎拍（Taikebeat）」。
《信義》的音樂沒有光鮮亮麗，沒有斯文客氣，它來自街頭，來自深夜的舞池。
信義這張 EP 承接著這些曾經存在在搖頭舞廳的聲音，從台北的B1PUB（前身為雅宴），到桃園的獅子王，再到高雄的六號，台客碎拍源自真實的舞池，承載著本土夜生活文化的身體記憶。
搖頭的節奏，身體的律動，一切的起頭，這是舞客能量…
